This distance learning model of the Diploma course has been developed for students who are based outside of Europe where it is not possible to take the course because of travel or different timezones. It involves a huge commitment from the individual as they will have to ensure they keep up with the taught material and be able to demonstrate their understanding and development during regular updates with a tutor.
This course has the same lecture content as the standard Diploma course (full details below).
The first module, the NLP Life Skills, is available to take at any time. The course is taught through 10 videos (approximately 1 hour each) and comprehensive course notes which you can work through in your own time followed by a 2 hour interactive session with Phil online over Zoom. There will be two opportunities to take the interactive session with Phil – one at the start of September and one at the end of September, your can book onto your preferred option when you enrol on the course.
The remainder of the lecture modules are learnt by watching the module videos and reading the course notes followed by fortnightly Skype/Zoom calls with another distance learning student and a tutor who will assess your progression, ensure you are on track, and answer any questions you may have.
To deepen your knowledge, your training is completed with a supervised clinical module which you are required to attend in person. This 4 day module is run in small groups and there are different dates available throughout February and March 2021. Our aim is for these to run in person as normal, they will be in small groups but we will make a final decision nearer the time about these depending on the government advice in the UK and travel advice in your country.
The Diploma course (whether you take it distance learning or live online (usually attendance!)) are run over the same timescales to enable both sets of students to work closely together and arrange practice and discussion sessions. If you are able to particpate in any of the live online lecture modules this is highly encouraged (you can find the dates for these here).
Students across the world have taken this course, including Australia, Caymen Islands, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Russia, Singapore and USA.
If you wish to become a Lightning Process Practitioner then this course, or the attendance version, is your first step on that journey!
As our distance learning option is primarily designed for students who are based outside Europe if this is not you then we would highly recommend our attendance/live online course instead – you can find full information about this here…
