This is the ultimate training for people who are really serious about becoming great practitioners and leaders in this field. It trains you in all the skills you will need to begin effectively working with clients with Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Coaching and Clinical Hypnotherapy, and supports you in gaining the confidence and experience to work effectively with a wide range of clients.
This distance learning model of the Diploma course has been developed for students who are based outside of Europe where it is not possible to take the course because of travel or timezones. Students from across the world have taken this course, including Australia, Caymen Islands, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Russia, Singapore and USA.
It involves a huge commitment from the individual as they will have to ensure they keep up with the taught material and be able to demonstrate their understanding and development during regular updates with a tutor, however, students who take this course graduate with a high level of skill and expertise to enable them to work with a wide range of clients and issues.

This course is ideal if you wish to develop a career as an NLP Practitioner, Coach and Clinical Hypnotherapist or if you want to apply NLP skills and Coaching within your workplace. Taking this course is also a prerequisite for those who wish to progress onto the Lightning Process Practitioner Training course.

Course Structure
The first module, the NLP Life Skills, can be started at any time. The course is taught through 10 videos (approximately 1 hour each) and comprehensive course notes which you can work through in your own time followed by a 2 hour interactive session with Phil online over Zoom to complete by September 2026.
The remainder of the lecture modules are learnt through watching the module videos and reading the course notes followed by regular Zoom calls with another distance learning student and a tutor who will assess your progression, ensure you are on track, and answer any questions you may have.
To deepen your knowledge, your training is completed with a supervised clinical module, which you must join live. This 4 day module is run in small groups, live online over Zoom. There are different dates available throughout February/March 2027.
Ahead of graduating, you will need to complete written and practical exams. The written exams, two case studies and a book/film review, can be done in your own time and submitted to be marked by an examiner. For the practical exam, an examiner will observe you undertaking a complete client session and demonstrating your clinical competence – this can be arranged directly with your examiner at a time to suit you.
The Diploma course, whether you take it distance learning or live online, is run over the same timescales, September 2026-February 2027, to enable both sets of students to work closely together and arrange practice and discussion sessions. This is the only module that distance learning students are required to join live. These four days are packed with opportunities to practice the clinical skills you have learnt over the past five modules:
- Small groups of between 4-6 students
- Working with external clients (up to 8 one hour client sessions per group)
- Feedback and enhancement of client session
- Practical exercises to develop clinical skills
- Question and answer sessions with an experienced tutor
Course Fees
The cost of this extensive and clinical course is £5499 (£4582.50 +VAT). This can be paid upfront or instalments. An additional examination fee of £120 is payable to the examiner at the end of the course.
Qualification
On completing the course and passing your exams you will be awarded your Clinical Diploma in NLP, Coaching & Hypnotherapy and you can set up a clinical practice working with clients.
