Our college is the only place where you can train to be a Lightning Process Practitioner. The role requires an in-depth understanding of the use of advanced language patterns, NLP and Coaching so your first step on this journey is to take the Clinical Diploma in NLP, Coaching & Clinical Hypnotherapy followed by the Master Practitioner Certificate in NLP, Coaching and Clinical Hypnotherapy before embarking on this course, the Lightning Process Practitioner Training.
The Training
The Lightning Process course teaches people how to beneficially influence their health and wellbeing. We currently have practitioners working across the world – in over 20 different countries across 5 continents.
The training to become a practitioner starts by watching a recorded Lightning Process seminar run by Dr. Phil Parker, the designer. The recordings of this seminar will be available for you to watch from 29th June 2026, included in these will be Phil’s reflections on the session and the follow up sessions with the clients after the seminar to continue to support the clients.
Following this there will be two live online session with Phil on 28th-29th July 2026 where he trains students how to run the seminars as a practitioner.
Students continue their training by observing two further practitioners running the three day LP training live (to be arranged at their convenience).
Students then take a workshop focusing on enhancing their delivery skills in August 2026.
Students are invited and encouraged to attend the annual LP Practitioner CPD Events throughout the year.
Written and practical exams are undertaken to complete the course; the first opportunity to take the exams will be in October 2026, future opportunities are also available.
Training fees: £1750 +VAT – this includes the LP Practitioner training course, recordings and materials, two observations, delivery skills workshop, practical and written exams and attendance at CPD events.
Annual Licence: UK licence: £605 +VAT, International licence: £1050 (+VAT where applicable) per country. We offer a 25% reduction off the licence cost listed above, for students in their first year.
Additional exam fees: these are only charged if you are required to retake an exam as the initial exam cost is included in the training fees (Written Exam = £40 +VAT, Practical Exams = £135 +VAT)
Once practicing:
15% of all LP client fees (+VAT where applicable) are payable to the LP register.
Annual CPD fees for all Registered Practitioners are £200 +VAT – these are included in the training fees for students.
Taking this course, passing the exams associated with it and holding a valid licence qualifies you for membership of the Register.
In order to continue to be a member of the Register, practitioners are required to hold a valid licence, comply by LP Code of Conduct and other policies and undertake Continuing Professional Development (CPD), including regular supervision and attendance at CPD events throughout the year.
