How common is it?

Many people suffer from self esteem and confidence issues, though you might not think it to look at them. Often they can feel fine about certain things, but feel completely inconfident about others.

 

How will I know if I have low self esteem?

How it affects people varies enormously, but it will usually include:

doubting yourself

comparing yourself to others and thinking you're not as good as them

being sure you'll fail

always thinking you've made a mistake or missed out something really important

 

How can it be overcome?

Surprisingly easily.

Sufferers of self esteem issues often think it's just their hard luck to be flawed in this way and that there nothing they can do about it; often they've tried, unsuccessfully to talk themselves out of it.

This is a classic case of using the only tools available for a job which they are just not suitable for.

We have studied three groups of people over the years

those with good self esteem

those with poor self esteem

those who used to have poor self esteem, and don't any more

This research has clearly identified what those people in those different groups do that is different, and which ensures that they get different results in their lives.

Simply by identifying what you do that causes you the feelings of low self esteem, and clearly teaching you how to do what people with good self esteem do, will ensure that you can start to build your self esteem.

This may sound quite a tall order, but it isn't, we know because we helped so many people to achieve freedom from those destructive patterns.
